Founder Bios

Wayne Kelly is a healthcare data innovator with more than 25 years of experience advancing patient experience measurement and healthcare performance standards. As Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Mind Lens, he brings deep expertise in translating data into actionable insight that improves both care quality and operational outcomes.
Wayne began his career with Healthcare Data, Inc., where he played a key role in patient satisfaction data collection and reporting. Following the company’s acquisition by Thomson Reuters, he led Joint Commission (TJC) client submissions with a 100% success rate and directed global training initiatives.
An accomplished entrepreneur, Wayne founded HCXperience, Inc. in 2012, launching HCXP—one of the first cloud-based, point-of-care patient satisfaction survey platforms. He later co-founded NurseCareAI, developing AI-driven patient engagement solutions that enhanced communication and streamlined care delivery.
After the successful sale of NurseCareAI’s assets in 2023, Wayne co-founded Mind Lens Global, where he continues to lead innovation in Human Experience Data (HED). He is also focused on advancing future solutions, including The Intelligent Home—an AI-enabled platform designed to help seniors age safely and independently through smart technology integration.

Brian Mitchell serves as Co-Founder and Chief Experience Officer of Mind Lens, where he is focused on translating servant leadership into measurable outcomes for healthcare organizations. His work centers on ensuring the voice of every staff member, patient, and family member is heard, valued, and reflected in the experience of care.
With more than 30 years in healthcare, Brian brings a unique blend of clinical awareness and transformational leadership. A certified John C. Maxwell Team coach, teacher, trainer, and speaker, he is deeply committed to developing leaders who drive both performance and purpose.
As a senior executive with GE Healthcare and Conifer Health, Brian consistently delivered exceptional results—leading teams to top-ranked performance and contributing to organizational growth of up to 30x within two years. While at GE, he was recognized with the prestigious President’s Winner Circle Leadership Award.
Brian holds an MBA in Healthcare Management (summa cum laude) and is the author of Inspired Selling. He is passionate about mentoring and equipping the next generation of healthcare leaders to lead with clarity, courage, and impact.

Teresa has a proven track record of delivering measurable, bottom-line results through Lean implementations across major healthcare organizations. Her work focuses on aligning strategy, culture, and execution to drive sustainable performance improvement.
She is the developer of the LSS Daily Management System (Deason DMS™), a framework that has helped organizations transform culture and significantly improve staff engagement. Teresa is also a co-author of Leading the Lean Healthcare Journey and Servant Leadership: Transforming Healthcare from the Inside Out.

Denise Cuddeback is a healthcare product innovator and transformation leader with nearly 30 years of experience scaling ambulatory care solutions across complex health systems. She brings deep expertise in aligning clinical strategy, access, and operational efficiency to drive measurable performance improvement.
As a former Vice President at Atrium Health, Denise led enterprise-wide initiatives in access, growth, care redesign, and operational performance. She designed and implemented Atrium’s first patient portal, MyHealth Online, achieving 90% provider schedule availability for direct scheduling and reducing patient no-show rates to 1.5%.
A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Denise has a strong track record of translating strategy into execution at scale. As Founder and President of QCx, she is the inventor of Panelytx™ and Schedulytx™—innovative platforms that model demand, optimize supply, and automate schedule design to improve access, efficiency, and revenue across physician organizations.

Apurv Gupta, MD, MPH is a physician leader and healthcare innovator focused on driving transformational change through integrated clinical, operational, and cultural strategies. His work centers on advancing quality, performance, and human-centered care across complex health systems.
He is the architect of A Loving Organization—a systems-based approach that embeds compassion, trust, and human connection into the design and delivery of care. Through this work, Apurv helps organizations align culture, leadership, and operations to achieve sustainable improvements in both clinical and financial performance.
In addition, he leads initiatives in Quality Transformation, enabling organizations to enter a “virtuous cycle” of performance excellence, and Care Transformation, improving outcomes by enhancing throughput, reducing variation, and strengthening clinical governance and provider engagement.
Apurv is highly effective at building trust, aligning stakeholders, and leading change across complex environments. His perspective is shaped by a unique breadth of experience as a clinician, executive, consultant, and entrepreneur—allowing him to bridge strategy and execution at every level of the organization.
